The idea
An Art Nouveau-style restaurant with retro charm. The comfort of a private living room with the best of cuisine and wines, both tastefully chosen in keeping with traditions with a look at contemporary contaminations.
The protagonists
Marco Ruga, a local entrepreneur with a passion for art and the area meets Max Celeste, a Michelin-starred chef, and together they decide to bring this project to life and bring the 1900s back to Pallanza with a modern twist.
The reason why
Restore the historic Cafe delle Rose to its former glory by enhancing its historicity, so as to revive the atmosphere that saw it as a showcase and source of inspiration for great artists and entrepreneurs.
Our chef Max Celeste
The ‘atmosphere of history and refinement of our bistro conveyed to me the excitement to make a proposal of refined and km 0-conscious creative cuisine that can enhance the values of lake and mountains.
